EPM11 Setup for Remote Desktop Services

Introduction

 

EPM11 is now available to employees using Remote Desktop Services. The first time you sign into EPM11, you will need to go through the following prompts. You should only need to do this during the first time you sign into the application.

 

Instructions

 

  1. Open RDS by going to  https://scsuremotedesktop.campus.stcloudstate.edu/RDWeb 
  2. Once you are in the RDS session, click on the Start menu, then select MinnState EPM11-61.
  3. The initial EPM11 screen when run for the first time. Note that there is no Oracle logo or EPM 11 graphic on the right hand portion of the window.
  4. Enter your credentials to sign into EPM11. As a reminder, EPM11 does not use your starID.
  5. After successful authentication, run a report or query.

NOTE: If the report does not display, please continue with the following steps. The following steps should only be necessary the first time you run a report in EPM11 via RDS.

  1. A menu will appear. Click on OK, then click Allow on the bottom of the screen.
  2. When prompted to make changes to your device, click on the No button.
  3. After clicking on the No button, close the Hyperion Installation Wizard window by clicking on the “X” in the upper right hand corner:
  4. Click the Allow button in the next window
  5. Click on Leave This Page when prompted:
  6. An error dialog is displayed, click on the OK button
  7. A blank window is displayed. Close the window by clicking on the “X” in the upper right hand corner
  1. The initial page is displayed again. Click on the Launch Application button
  2. In the lower right corner of the EPM 11 log in screen, set the zoom to 100%.
  3. First time setup is complete. You can sign into EPM11 without going through these steps.
