Setting up an email account on Android Mail

Introduction

You can manually set up secondary email accounts in the Android setting application

Instructions

Note: Different versions of Android or different manufacturers of phones may look slightly different, however the settings should remain the same.

1. Open your System Settings and select Passwords & accounts
2. Press Add Account and then select Exchange
3. Enter your Office 365 login and tap Next

• Employees/Emeriti: StarID@minnstate.edu 
• Students: StarID@go.minnstate.edu  

7. Enter your Star ID password and tap Sign in
8. Complete your MFA prompt
9. Tap done 
10. You should see a message that the account set-up is complete
