How to use MobilePrint Center

MobilePrint gives the ability to upload or email your documents from a mobile device (mobile phones, tablets & laptops) to the campus printing queue via the HuskyPrint portal below. 

You are able to print from home, yet you still need to come to campus to pick up the print job.  * If needed, you can delete jobs from the print queue here, however, this is not required as the jobs will disappear after 15 minutes if not printed. 

Supported Documents:

  • Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
  • PDF
  • Text (txt, rtf, csv)
  • Images (jpg, gif, png, tiff)


How can I print from my mobile device or from my personal laptop?


  1. Navigate to
  2. Log into the Print Center Web site with your StarID and Password.
    • As a student your Campus Card Print Funds are Displayed at the bottom of the screen, Use this to verify the cost of your print job.
  3. From here you can
    • Upload a document
  4. Default printing: single copy, double-sided, black & white.
  5. Print Options: from the Print Center or mobile tab you may select the following
    • Black & White or Color printing
    • Single or Double Sided
    • Pages per side
    • Number of copies and Page Ranges
  6. To pick up your document
    1. Go to any Print Release Station on campus
    2. Note: Print jobs will only be available for release for a 2-hour period. You need to log in to a printer station on campus, you cannot print directly from your phone/laptop.
  7. Log into the Print Release Station using your StarID and Password and swipe your Campus Card.
  8. Select the document.
  9. Click Print.

Printing Costs:

  • Black-and-white (one-sided) $0.04
  • Black-and-white (two-sided) $0.07
  • Color (8.5 x 11) $0.25
  • Color (11 x 17) $0.50


St. Cloud State students automatically have ($8.00) loaded each semester and funded by the Student Technology Fee.

Additional funds can be added for immediate use through Campus Card | Account Management | Deposits | Make a Deposit ($3 convenience fee MasterCard, VISA, AmEx, or Discover accepted)
