Backup or Restore Notes on OneNote

How do I backup and restore my notes on OneNote?

Answer

To Back up (share) Notes

1. On OneNote, Click Share on the top right side.
2. Enter your Office 365 login.

•     Employees/Emeriti: StarID@minnstate.edu
•     Students: StarID@go.minnstate.edu

3. Click Send.

To Restore your Notes

1. Log into your Office 365 account.

•     Employees/Emeriti: StarID@minnstate.edu
•     Students: StarID@go.minnstate.edu

2. Click on Outlook > Inbox and look for the email you sent.
3. Click on the OneNote link.
4. Note any changes that had been made and update your notes accordingly.
