Question
Why didn't I receive my student payroll check?
Answer
There may be a few reasons you didn't receive your paycheck this pay period.
- Have you and your supervisor completed a Notification of Hiring (NOH) form and returned it to the Financial Aid Office? The NOH form is used to prepare your work authorization so you can begin working.
- Have you completed the required payroll forms (I-9 and W-4)? You are not permitted to work until you've completed your payroll forms. Contact the SCSU Payroll Office, AS Building Room 123 or (320) 308-4005 with any questions.
- Verify that you have entered all of your hours worked into e-time reporting and your supervisor has approved them. Contact your supervisor or check your e-Services to verify your hours have been entered and approved.
- Did you begin working after the end of the most recent pay period? If yes, it may be that your payroll will be processed in the next payroll cycle.
- Do you have direct deposit set up? If not, you may be waiting for a paper check, which takes longer to get to you. We strongly encourage you to set up direct deposit in your e-Services so your earnings are deposited on the payroll date.
If you still have questions after reviewing the above, then please contact the SCSU Payroll Office in AS Building Room 123.
