Troubles logging into State computer after password reset

Introduction

Have you just reset (changed) your StarID password and now can't get signed onto your state work device?

 

Instructions

If you have just reset your password on the StarID website and are unable to sign onto your Windows machine, please follow these steps:

  1. Plug a network cable directly into your device, or make sure there is a network cable plugged into your docking station
  2. Shut down the computer
  3. turn the computer back on and you should be able to now use your starID and starID password to log into your Windows machine.
