Tips:

  • To change your display settings to include or exclude your laptop display and any external displays such as a classroom projector and the instructor station display:
    • Windows Computer
      • Simultaneously press the Windows key + P to open the "Projection Mode" menu to allow you to choose how you want to project your content. Your options are:

      • Extend: Extend your desktop across multiple displays.
      • Second screen only: Display only on the external screen, turning off the laptop's display.
      • Note: This connects your laptop to an external monitor, projector, or the display on the instructor station.

    • Mac Computer
      • Command (⌘) + F1: If your Mac is connected to an external display, this will toggle mirroring on and off.
      • If your Mac doesn't support this shortcut or if it's not working you may also manage display settings through System Settings (or System Preferences in older MacOS versions):

      • Go to System Settings (or System Preferences).
      • Click on Displays.
      • Here you can choose to mirror displays or arrange them as needed.
      • For more detailed control you may also use the Display menu in the menu bar, if it's enabled.

    • If you do not see your projection on the screen check the input on the remote

  • Audio Controls will be controlled via the device you are using
