Moving D2L Brightspace Locker files to OneDrive

D2L is discontinuing the 'Locker' tool. Here's how to download your files and upload to OneDrive in order to retain access or archive those files.

Introduction

The tool 'Locker' is being discontinued and remove from D2L Brightspace -- Here's how to download your Locker files and save them to OneDrive.

Instructions

1. To access and download your Locker files, access D2L Brightspace: https://stcloudstate.learn.minnstate.edu
2. Click the Resources menu and choose Locker:

3. Click the 'select all rows' box, then click 'download':

4. Download the .zip file when prompted by clicking on the link:
   1. 
5. If you'd like to upload the unzipped files, unzip them first. 
   1. For Windows users, right click and choose 'extract all...'
   2. Mac users should be able to extract via a double click of the .zip file.
6. Access OneDrive:
   1. https://mnscu-my.sharepoint.com/my - sign in with StarID@minnstate.edu or StarID@go.minnstate.edu
   2. Create any new folder(s) desired, if any.
7. Upload your unzipped files via:
   1. Add New | Files Upload or Folder Upload
8. Select the unzipped files/folders you'd like to upload to OneDrive.
