How do I find my D2L Brightspace courses? Use one of the methods shown below.
Answer
Method 1: My Courses
- If the course(s) you're looking for are not shown in the My Courses widget, scroll to the bottom and click 'View All Courses':
- Using the All Courses search, you can search by course name, rubric, or term.
- Examples: Strategic Management, ENGL 150, SP25
- If you're looking for courses from a certain term, search for the term:
- Example for Spring 2025, search for 'sp25'
- When you locate your course(s), use the '...' menu to pin** them to the My Courses widget:
Method 2: Course Selector
- Click the course selector button:
- You can scroll to find the needed course(s)
- Once located, click the 'pin' icon to pin the course(s) to the top of the list.
- If you've got a search bar as part of the course selector, you can search using name, rubric or term.
- Locate the desired course(s) and click the 'pin' icon to pin them to the top of the list.
** A note about pinning courses: You can use the course selector to pin any number of courses, but the My Courses widget is limited to displaying 12 courses. If you've pinned more than 12, and don't see the desired course(s) in the My Courses widget, you may need to un-pin some courses to make space in My Courses. Courses appear in My Courses in the order in which they were pinned: oldest/first pinned at the top, second oldest/second pinned in the second position, etc...
