The instructions below are to help guide international students through the process of navigating to and submitting an I-20 Re-Print and Travel Signature request.

Navigation Instructions:

Upon login (https://stcloudstate-isss.terradotta.com), the landing page will display your personal information at the top, which remains the same throughout the portal. The lower portion of the page will change as you move between the three main sections:

Personal & Program 

Includes general personal information, academic details, contact information, and dependent information (if applicable).

Control Center 

Shows a summary of your requests—Ongoing requests, Completed requests, Documents, CPT summary, OPT summary, and Available Requests.

Personal & Program

Control Center

Summary of requests- Ongoing requests, Completed requests, Documents, Curricular Practical Training (CPT) summary, Optional Practical Training (OPT) summary, and Available requests.

I-20 Re-Print and Travel Signature Instructions: 

Students may use this request form to obtain an I-20 reprint, travel signature, change of major on I-20, or other updates/corrections. Please review each section carefully and complete fields as required.

Section 1: I-20/DS-2019 Reprint (No Changes)

This section is for students who need an exact reprint of their current I-20 or DS-2019 without any updates.

  • If you are requesting only a reprint with no changes, check the confirmation box.
  • Once selected, you may still continue through the request and choose other options if needed.
  • Click Next to proceed.

Section 2: Reason for Request

Part 1: Travel Signature Request

• Select this option if you need a travel signature for upcoming international travel.
• Ensure you enter your departure and return dates accurately.
• This option is required if you will leave the United States and need your I-20 signed for re-entry.
• Click Next to continue.

Part 2: Travel Signature – Not Traveling Outside the United States

• Select this option if you are not traveling internationally but still need a travel endorsement.
• This is typically used when your current travel signature is expiring soon and you want it renewed proactively.
• No travel dates are required for this selection.
• Click Next to proceed.

Part 3: I-20 Reprint Due to Travel or Lost Document

• Select this option if you need a new printed copy of your I-20 for travel, replacement, or record accuracy.
• Use this option if your document was lost, damaged, or you prefer a newly issued copy.
• Continue to enter your details as prompted.
• Click Next to move forward.

Part 4: Reason for Reprint – Provide Details

• Use the text field to explain why you need the reprint.
• Keep the explanation brief (e.g., lost I-20, damaged copy, name spelling update, travel preparation).
• Clear explanations help avoid processing delays.
• Click Next when finished.

Status Confirmation for Travel Signature

• Select the appropriate status that applies to your current situation (traveling, not traveling, replacement request).
• Make sure the information you choose matches your earlier selection.
• Click Next to continue.

Expected Travel Dates (If Applicable)

• Enter your travel dates only if you selected a travel-related option.
• Dates must reflect your planned departure and return.
• If you are not traveling, leave this section blank or skip as instructed.
• Click Next to proceed.

Additional Information (If Requested)

• Provide any additional details that may assist ISSS in processing your request.
• Include clarifications if your situation is unique or requires special handling.
• After entering your information, click Next.

It will take 5–7 business days to process your I-20 Reprint or Travel Signature request. Please monitor your SCSU email for updates from the processing team, which may include your Academic Advisor, ISSS Processor, or DSO. If you submitted your request and do not receive any communication after 7 business days, you may follow up by emailing international@stcloudstate.edu. If you are requesting a travel signature close to your travel date and are within 3 business days of your planned departure, and you have not received any emails requesting additional information nor the updated I-20, you should reach out to international@stcloudstate.edu to ensure your request is processed in time for travel.
