Introduction
In Summer 2026, SCSU is transitioning all networked multifunction printers to a secure print-only environment. Students, faculty, and staff should use the HuskyPrint Secure print queue when printing to campus MFPs.
To reduce printing errors and prevent jobs from being sent to inactive printers or obsolete queues, we recommend removing outdated print queues from your computer. Please note that HuskyPrint Secure is the designated print queue for networked campus printing at SCSU and should not be removed. Keeping this queue installed will help ensure uninterrupted access to secure printing services across campus.
Instructions
The instructions below are intended to serve as a general guide for removing outdated print queues. Please note that the exact steps may vary depending on your device's make, model, and operating system.
1. Navigate to the device's Settings menu
2. Open Printers & scanners
3. Select the printer to remove
4. Select "Remove"
5. Repeat as needed to remove all unnecessary printers
