The Collate feature determines whether multiple copies print as complete document sets (1,2,3 • 1,2,3) or grouped by page (1,1,1 • 2,2,2). After selecting your collate and stapling preferences, print the document and release it using the Pharos Print app.

Introduction
The Collate setting controls the order in which multiple copies of a multi-page document are printed. This is useful when printing packets, handouts, or documents that need to stay in page order.
Instructions
Print a Collated Document

Open the Word document you want to print.
- Select File > Print.
- Under Settings, choose the number of copies you would like to print.
- Select the desired Collate option:
Collated
Example: 1,2,3 • 1,2,3 • 1,2,3
- Prints complete document sets in order.
- Ideal when each copy should remain together as a finished document.
Uncollated
Example: 1,1,1 • 2,2,2 • 3,3,3
- Prints all copies of page 1 first, then all copies of page 2, and so on.
- Useful when pages will be sorted or assembled later.
Optional: Select Stapling Preferences
If your printer supports stapling:
- Open Printer Properties or Finishing Options from the Print menu.
- Choose whether you would like the document stapled.
- Select the desired stapling position (for example, top-left corner or dual stapling).
Print and Release Your Job
- Review your print settings and select Print.
- Go to a supported printer.
- Open the Pharos Print app and use either:
- The QR code scanner/camera feature, or
- Your release passcode
- Release your print job from the printer.
