Can I use the QR code on the printer to access copying and scanning features or log into the printer?
Answer
Currently, the mobile app can be used only to release print jobs at the printer. However, for those who prefer using a mobile device instead of a passcode to authenticate at the new multifunction printers, we are pleased to share that QR code sign-in functionality is expected to be available this year.
Our software provider is currently targeting availability by the end of 2026, however, a firm deployment date has not yet been established. We will continue to provide updates to the campus community as additional information becomes available and a rollout timeline is confirmed.
