Why does SciFinder not work on my Mac?
Answer
Some Mac computers have been having trouble running SciFinder. The reason is that Mac OS has turned off the Java plug in by default, and web browsers cannot run web site application.
Solution
1) run Oracle's Java tester (http://www.java.com/en/download/testjava.jsp)
2) click the Run button on the pop-up dialog
3) go back to the SciFinder service and click the Run button on the pop-up dialog
