How do I find an internship?

The first thing to do is set up a profile in Handshake. Upload a resume, search for internships, and network with employers. Once an internship has been secured, let us know by reporting your Experience.
Attend one of the many job and internship fairs or networking events with employers. Employers attending our fairs want to recruit SCSU students specifically. Our networking events are a great way to learn about the employer and obtain tips on internships, resumes, or interviewing.
Whether taking the internship for credit or not for credit, find great tips on the Career Center website and watch some quick videos.
If after speaking with a faculty internship advisor and you still have questions about finding an internship, you can make an appointment with a Career Center staff.
