Academic Suspension vs. Expulsion

If I have been academically suspended, am I expelled from St. Cloud State University?

Answer

Academic suspension is not the same as being expelled from the University.

• Suspensions are for a particular semester or two. You will be required to meet with an advisor before you return from your suspension to create an academic success plan.
• Expulsion is permanent denial of the privilege of enrollment at the University
