Can I change my assigned advisor?

Answer

Changing your academic advisor after you have been assigned one may be possible, depending on advisor availability. Contact Advising and Student Transitions about an advisor change.  If you want a specific faculty member for an advisor, you should contact that faculty member and have them email advising@stcloudstate.edu to request the agreed upon change.
