GPA too low for your Major

Question

What should I do if my GPA does not meet the requirements for my major?

Answer

If your GPA is too low for your major, please consult your advisor about retaking course(s) for higher grade(s) or about other options. Remember: If you retake a course in which you had a passing grade (and a D- is a passing grade), you may end up reducing your course completion rate (completed credits v. attempted credits) and then not meet satisfactory academic progress requirements.
