Instructions

The federal Teacher Education Assistance for College and Higher Education (TEACH) Grant requires service as a highly-qualified teacher in a high-need field, in a low-income school. Teaching must be full-time for four years within eight years of completing the program of study.  

To apply for the federal TEACH Grant: 

1. Complete the SCSU Federal TEACH Grant Application and return it to the SCSU Financial Aid Office
2. Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)  
3.  Complete the federal TEACH Grant counseling and Agreement to Serve application. Log in with your FSA ID is required.

The above three items must be completed for each aid year that you are applying for the federal TEACH Grant.
