I received an error code "68" while attempting to register. What does this mean?

Error Message 68: Student must take/pass test or satisfy course prerequisites (the course requires prerequisites or test before registration)

Some Departments have courses for which you cannot register unless you have completed other courses or have completed and passed various tests.

Please contact the department responsible for the course to clarify that you have met the prerequisites. If you have met the prerequisites, they will need to put in an override for you. Once the override is in, you will be able to register for that course.
