Traffic Safety Education

The Traffic Safety Education (TSE)/Drivers Education program will prepare you to teach driver’s education in a public, private or commercial school setting. You will learn how to teach students important life skills while improving your own driving skills. The program combines theories of instruction with practical application.

Students who are seeking Driver Education licensure to teach in Minnesota Public or Private Schools must successfully complete five courses (required core of 13 credits).  The TSE courses are 100% on-line. Students will participate in online discussions and follow assignment deadlines provided by the instructor. 10% of the program consist of six required online class meeting. Students will attend the online meeting dates via Zoom: an online web conferencing system used to hold online meetings dates so students do not have to come to campus.
