St. Cloud State University routinely evaluates the condition of walls and surfaces across campus to determine the annual maintenance plan.
Instructions
SCSU has established design standards for paint. The specific color will generally be determined by Facilities Management to align with the design standards and to match the rest of the building.
Accent walls are typically only used in public spaces and office reception areas. The campus design standard is that individual offices shall not have accent walls. This creates aesthetic consistency across campus and makes touch-ups and repairs more efficient.
All wall and surface painting must be overseen by Facilities Management and will be done by trained staff or contracted vendors. Individual departments, faculty, and staff are not authorized to perform wall or surface modification themselves and shall not contact contractors or vendors directly.
