HuskyPrint for Students: Resetting Passcode

Introduction

ITS in the process of implementing a new printing solution for students, Pharos Cloud, which will go live for students in mid-August. Prior to the launch of this new service, students can download the app and log in so they are ready to print in fall semester. 

See below for instructions to reset a passcode as needed. 

Instructions

Resetting Passcode from the Web Portal

  1. Sign into the HuskyPrint web portal
  2. Click on the hamburger menu, then select "Passcode"
  3. Select "Reset Passcode"
  4. You should receive an email to your SCSU email address from Pharos Cloud <no-reply@beacon.pharos.com> with your new passcode - treat your passcode like a password 

Resetting Passcode from the mobile app 

  1. Navigate to the Pharos Secure Release app and ensure you are logged in with YourStarID@go.minnstate.edu credentials 
  2. From the app homepage, select "How to submit a job" 
  3. In the section that has your username and app code (passcode), select the refresh button 
  4. Select OK when it prompts if you are sure you want to reset the app code 
  5. A new app code (passcode) should appear in the app and should also be emailed to your SCSU email - treat your passcode like a password
