Program Information Update

Introduction

The instructions below are to help guide international students through the process of navigating to and updating their program information.

Navigation Instructions:

Upon login (https://stcloudstate-isss.terradotta.com), the landing page will display your personal information at the top, which remains the same throughout the portal. The lower portion of the page will change as you move between the three main sections:

 

Personal & Program 

Includes general personal information, academic details, contact information, and dependent information (if applicable).

 

Control Center 

Shows a summary of your requests—Ongoing requests, Completed requests, Documents, CPT summary, OPT summary, and Available Requests.

Personal & Program

Control Center

Summary of requests- Ongoing requests, Completed requests, Documents, Curricular Practical Training (CPT) summary, Optional Practical Training (OPT) summary, and Available requests.

Program Information Update Instructions: 

Section 1 – Selecting the Program Information Update Request

This section guides you to begin the Program Information Update process.
• From the list of available request options, click “Program Information Update.”
• This request is used when your program details are changing, but your degree level is staying the same.
• Once selected, the Program Information Update form will open.

Section 2 – Completing the Program Information Questionnaire

This section collects the details of your updated academic information.
• Select your Education Level, Primary Major, Secondary Major, and Minor from the dropdown menus.
• Answer whether English proficiency is required by the school.
• If English proficiency is required, answer whether the student has the required proficiency.
• Enter any remarks if needed.
• Click Next when finished.

Section 3 – English Proficiency Options (Required)

This section appears depending on your English proficiency selection.
• If the school requires English proficiency, select Yes or No based on the student’s status.
• Make sure the answer matches your admission record.
• Continue to the next section once all required information is complete.

Section 4 – English Proficiency Not Required (If Applicable)

NOTE: ALL students, except Intensive English Center students, will select: Yes. Only students pursuing the Intensive English Center program will click on No.

Intensive English Center program students ONLY:

Is English Proficiency Required by the school? Answer: No

This section appears only if English proficiency is not required for the program.
• Select No for the English proficiency requirement.
• Enter the reason why English proficiency is not required in the provided text box: English training will be provided by the institution.
• Once complete, click Next to continue.

Section 5 – Student Acknowledgment

This section confirms your understanding of the update request.
• Review the acknowledgment message carefully.
• Confirm that all personal information in your profile is correct.
• Check the box stating that the information you provided is complete and true.
• Click Submit to complete your request, or Save as Draft to stop and complete the request at a later time.

It will take 5–7 business days to process your Program Information Update request. Please monitor your email address for messages from the processing team – Academic Advisor, ISSS Processor, or DSO.

When submitting a Program Information Update in the same semester, after 7 business days, if you do not receive your updated I-20 after checking your SCSU email, feel free to email international@stcloudstate.edu to follow up on your request.

If you are submitting a Program Information Update close to your program start date AND you are within 3 business days of that date AND you do not have any email communication from CIS for more information AND you have not yet received your updated I-20, reach out to international@stcloudstate.edu to follow up on your request.
