What English Proficiency exams do you require for graduate student admission?
Answer
St. Cloud State School of Graduate Studies accepts the following English Proficiency scores for admission consideration:
IELTS score 7.5+ (Direct Admission)
TOEFL score 100+ (Direct Admission)
All students admitted with the following score ranges and tests may be required to complete the Accuplacer Exam during orientation activities:
IELTS score > 6.5
TOEFL score > 79
Duolingo English Test score 105+
Scores falling below the minimum requirement may be eligible for a Conditional Language Admission to complete English coursework through the Intensive English Center.
IELTS score 5.5-6.5
TOEFL score 61-78
Duolingo English Test score 95-104
