How to Access and Navigate AppsAnywhere

Summary

How to access AppsAnywhere. This service allows users the ability to access SCSU applications within a virtual environment from anywhere with an Internet connection.

Body

Introduction

AppsAnywhere is a Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) cloud service available to SCSU students for academic software. The service allows users to access SCSU applications within a virtual environment from anywhere with an Internet connection.

In Apps Anywhere, the Desktop, Documents, and Pictures folders are redirected to OneDrive by default.  Anything saved to those locations should be synced back to OneDrive.

If you have a lot of files in your OneDrive, it may take several minutes, maybe more, for OneDrive to sync and redirect folders after the initial logon to Apps Anywhere. Subsequent syncs would be much faster.

You can check the sync status by looking at the blue OneDrive logo in the taskbar near the clock.

It may take a moment for your items to sync such as ISRS
