Description
Moving TMIT into the next implementation phase. That will include:
o Develop the organizational structure and governance for the Institute
o Develop membership, association and fellowship requirements for academic programs, individual faculty and possibly industrial partners
o Hold the first TMIT Symposium for faculty and industrial partners to share research and development interests, capabilities and uncover potential synergies
o Hold the first TMIT Student Research Colloquium
o Start to execute AY 23-24 plan for 3 major projects/initiative:
o Resource Collaborative for Immersive Technologies (RECITE), a multi-institutions project$3.7M (NSF).
o American Cutting Edge (ACE) Grant $1.9M (DoD)
o Advanced Technology for Comprehensive Campus Safety and Security Assurance (GeoComm)
o Continue the execution of 2 current projects
o National Center for Autonomous Technology (NCAT) (NSF)
o Technology and Engineering Careers (TEC) Network (multiple industrial partners)
