How to Sign In to Adobe Acrobat or Adobe Creative Cloud

Introduction

Adobe Creative Cloud is a set of applications and services from Adobe Inc. that gives subscribers access to a collection of software used for graphic design, video editing, web development, and photography, along with a set of mobile applications and also some optional cloud services.

 

Instructions

After opening the Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop App or opening any Adobe Application, you will be presented with the Adobe sign in screen. 

  1. When asked for your Email Address, enter 
    1. Faculty/Staff and student employees: yourStarID@minnstate.edu  
    2. Students: yourStarID@go.minnstate.edu

NOTE

  • You will need to sign in every 180 days. This confirms your license is current.
  • When using a Mac, you can open any Adobe application and sign in upon its launch.
  • With Windows PCs, you must open the Adobe Creative Cloud application first and sign in through the application before you can use any Adobe software.
  • If you do not sign in through the Creative Cloud application first, but attempt to open any other Adobe application, you will be provided with the sign in prompt, but will not be able to sign in and will receive an error stating that there is no account associated with the email address provided.
