Adobe Creative Cloud - Mac - Desktop App Installation Process


Adobe Creative Cloud is a set of applications and services from Adobe Systems that gives subscribers access to a collection of software used for:

  • graphic design

  • video editing

  • web development

  • photography

Adobe Creative Cloud includes desktop, mobile and web-based versions of its applications.


Installation of Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop App


1.) Click on the magnifying glass on the top right side of your desktop.


2.) Type SCSU Self-Service and hit enter.


NOTE: To download the Adobe Creative Cloud software from the Adobe website rather than SCSU Self-Service, please follow this link: Download Adobe CC Desktop App (Mac & Windows)

3.) Next, click on Adobe in the navigation panel on the left side of the window. Then locate Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop App on the right side of the dialog box and click Install.


4.) After the installation is complete, click on Finder in your dock.


5.) You can locate the Adobe Creative Cloud application from here by clicking on Applications from the panel on the left-hand side of the window. Then click on the Adobe Creative Cloud App to open.


6.) Upon opening the Adobe Creative Cloud Application you will be prompted with a login window. In order to login you will either need a account (Faculty/Staff) or an AdobeID (Students).
