How to Connect your Xbox to Gadgets Network

For best gaming performance, and to maximize the availability of the wireless network, we highly recommend that you use an Ethernet cable and connect to the wired network.

To connect your Xbox 360 to the network, you will need to register its MAC address with us. Follow the instructions below to find your Xbox's MAC address.

1. Turn on your Xbox console with no game disc in the disc tray.
2. Go to My Xbox in the Xbox Dashboard and select System Settings.
3. Select Configure Network.
4. Select SCSU Gadgets or one of our other networks from the list.
5. Select Advanced Settings from the Additional Settings tab.
6. At the bottom of this screen you'll see a heading called MAC address
7. Double check the MAC address. On a TV screen it is easy to confuse the letter D with the number 0 and the letter B with the number 8.
8. When you are sure you have the correct MAC address, enter it in the Gadgets Registration Form.
