Is there a deadline to apply for financial aid?
Answer
If you plan to enroll in the fall term, we encourage you to apply for financial aid the year prior to your fall start term. You can apply as soon as possible after October 1st and preferably by early December. You apply for financial aid each year.
Some aid programs (e.g., work-study) have limited funding and are awarded on a first come-first served basis.
The Minnesota State Grant program requires your FAFSA to be on file with the federal processors no later than 30 days after the term starts.
