Instructions

You may apply for financial aid by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). ** 

  1. Go to studentaid.gov and select either “Start Here” (new users) or “Log In” (returning users) 

  1. Select either “I am the student” if you are the student and are ready to complete the FAFSA, OR “I am a parent, preparer, or student from a Freely Associated State” if you are not the student aid applicant

  2. Log in with FSA ID (students only) or the Save Key (parents and others) created by the student 

  1. Complete the FAFSA, save, sign, and submit for processing. 

For assistance, contact our office.  

Once your financial aid file is complete, your official financial aid notification will be posted in your e-Services and will include information on enrollment requirements for grants and scholarships, and how to accept federal and/or private loans.  

** Undocumented students may be eligible to complete the Minnesota Dream Act application.
