What is the minimum English Proficiency score to gain admittance to the school of graduate studies?

Answer

St. Cloud State School of Graduate Studies accepts the following English Proficiency scores for admission consideration:

IELTS score 7.5+ (Direct Admission)

TOEFL score 100+ (Direct Admission)

 

All students admitted with the following score ranges and tests will be required to complete the Accuplacer Exam during orientation activities:

IELTS score > 6.5

TOEFL score > 79

Pearson Test of English (PTE) score 57+

Duolingo English Test score 105+

 

Scores falling below the minimum requirement may be eligible for a Conditional Language Admission to complete English coursework through the Intensive English Center.

IELTS score 5.5-6.5

TOEFL score 61-78

Pearson Test of English (PTE) score 53-56

Duolingo English Test score 95-104
