Tech Support Zone Coverage

Identifying Your Department’s Primary ITS Technician

This guide helps faculty and staff quickly locate the primary technology support technician assigned to their department or area (zone).

What is Zone Coverage?

Information Technology Services (ITS) uses a zone coverage model to assign technicians across campus. This model takes into account both the geographic layout of campus and departmental relationships, ensuring that each area receives consistent and knowledgeable support.

How to Use This Chart

Use the table below to find your department or area and identify:

  • Primary Technician(s) assigned to your zone
  • Primary Backup Technician(s) in case the primary is unavailable
  • Contact Email to submit a support request (creates a ticket)

🔄 While each technician has a primary zone, all ITS technicians are cross-trained and available to assist across campus as needed.
