**Minitab student licenses won’t activate until the day before classes begin**

If you have NEVER logged into Office prior to installing Minitab, please do the following FIRST:

• Log into Office.com first using your
  • STARID@go.minnstate.edu and STARID password
  • Set up your MFA for security purposes if you have not done so

THEN-

• You can download it directly below
  • https://www.stcloudstate.edu/its/services/software/default.aspx                                                              
• This will directly download the software to your Windows computer (it does not work on a Mac)
• Click the minitab21.3.0.0setup.exe file that went to your “downloads” folder
  • Follow the setup instructions that appear on your screen
    • 
  • Select Sign in and next
    • 
• Finish the installation. STOP!!
  • Give it a few minutes to finish even after the install screen disappears fully
• Open MiniTab and click sign in… as shown below
  • Use your STARID@go.minnstate.edu
    • 
  • It should then open a web page and show.
    • 
  • You can then go back into MINITAB and create your document.
