Answer

  1. Lost/Stolen Cards
    1. Patrons should contact the Card Office immediately if their card is lost, stolen, or damaged. Although the initial card is free, the replacement fee for lost or stolen cards is $20. Please note: If the photo on file is over one year old, we require a new photo. 
  2. Damaged Cards
    1. Damaged cards are a result of negligence or improper use (ex. carrying the card unprotected in one’s pocket, using the card to scrape a windshield, exposing the card to water, etc.)
  3. "Legal Name" Replacement Card
    1. If your legal name has been updated in the system we can print a free replacement
  4. Replacement Fee Waivers
    1. Waiving of replacement card fees will be dependent upon the condition of the Card. 
      1. The card office staff will objectively review each damaged card to determine whether it is defective or damaged due to negligence.
    2. We will waive your replacement fee if:
      1. Your Card was stolen and you can provide us with a police report (the police report must be presented at the time of replacement)
      2. Your Card is 4+ years old
      3. Your Card’s smart chip fails (undamaged cards only)
        1. Must turn the damaged card in
      4. You have had a legal name change
      5. You are switching roles (i.e. student to staff)
  5. Student/Faculty/Staff/Emeritus
    1. Replacement costs
      1. Although the initial card is free, the replacement fee for lost or stolen cards is $20.
      2.  If the photo on file is over one year old, we require a new photo.
