Introduction
BlueZone and CAP Server access is available via Employee Remote Desktop. This will allow you to modify the password for secure applications like SEMA4 or EPM11 while you are off campus.
SEMA4 is the Minnesota Management & Budget website: https://mn.gov/mmb/segip. It cannot be accessed via an Entra authenticated laptop or through Employee Remote Desktop at this time or an access point.
Instructions
- Sign in to the Windows App at https://windows365.microsoft.com/ent#/
- Click to Connect on the Employee Desktop option
- If prompted, sign in with your Microsoft 365 credentials (starid@minnstate.edu) and click OK.
- You will see several applications on your desktop and in the Start Menu.

BlueZone
- For BlueZone, open the application Session Manager from the desktop, then double click to open the Standard Laptop Config

CAP Server
- For the CAP Server, double click on the icon on the desktop. When accessing the CAP server, you will need to prefix your StarID with "stcloudstate\" at the username, or "Email address", prompt. If you do not see a username or "Email address" prompt, click on "More choices" and select "Use a different account". (See screenshot below.)
