Assistance for Customers Who Cannot Sign In

Customers who do not have a StarID, or who cannot sign into services using their StarID can use this form to request information or report a technology issue with their account. 

• The StarID is a username specific to each student, faculty and staff member of Minnesota State System of colleges and universities.
• Activate or change your password in one place — starid.minnstate.edu
• Your StarID is two letters, four numbers, and two letters, e.g. "ab1234cd."
• Faculty, staff and students are all assigned a Minnesota State StarID.
