Manually Enroll a Student into D2L

How can I manually enroll a student into my D2L Classlist?

Answer

Instruct the Professor to follow the method below

1. Notify the Professor to Login into D2L on the Information Technology Services D2L Brightspace page.
2. Open the course that the user chooses to enroll the student too
3. Click on "Classlist" under Communications
4. Click "Add Participants" dropdown menu and select "Add existing users"
5. Navigate to the selected student by searching for their first name, last name and tech ID
6. Allow for the search engine to pop up with search engine results

• Confirm that it is the correct user
• Once confirmed check the tick box associated with the selected option
• Click "Role" and from the dropdown menu select "Student"

7. To complete the process, click on "Enroll Selected Users" located at the bottom
8. Notify the Professor that the student is now enrolled in the selected class.
