Introduction
You must log in with your StarID and password to view online library resources when off campus. Only currently enrolled students, currently employed faculty and staff members, and emeritus faculty with an active StarID can use the proxy to access online library materials off campus.
Question
How do people access online library resources when off campus?
Answer
- The library uses a proxy service that allows off campus access to online library resources like databases, ebooks, journals, and scholarly articles. For a demonstration see the video on the library website.
- An active Internet connection is required.
- Visit he University Library website to search for library resources. When you follow a link to the online resource of your choice, you will be asked to log in with your StarID and password. This activates the proxy service and allows you access to the resource.
- Logging in is not required when on campus. If you do not have a StarID, you can access online library resources in the library.
Troubleshooting
