What is my SCSU email address format?

Important Note:
Your username used to sign in and access your college email is not the same as your primary email address.
All Minnesota State Colleges and Universities use a universal login format:
- Students:
StarID@go.minnstate.edu
- Employees:
StarID@minnstate.edu
These are used for authentication and are not your actual email addresses. Any other email addresses you may have are considered alias emails.
Email Address Format
Your official SCSU email address will follow this format:
- Employees/Emeriti:
firstname.lastname@stcloudstate.edu
- Students:
firstname.lastname@go.stcloudstate.edu
If there is more than one person with the same name, a number will be added to differentiate (e.g., john.smith2@stcloudstate.edu).
