Moving from X Drive (WebFS) to OneDrive

Introduction

This guide shows you step by step what is needed to move your documents from your Xdrive using WebFS to OneDrive.

Step by Step Instructions

  1. Open WebFS in a browser window and sign in using your StarID and password.  https://webfs.stcloudstate.edu/
  2. Locate the required files, right-click and choose download. 
    • you may multi-select your files and download them as a group
    • NOTE - there is a "select all" button in the WebFS bar at the top of the window. Right-clicking and selecting "Compress and download" works well.
  3. Open office.com in a browser window. https://m365.cloud.microsoft/
  4. Click on OneDrive icon to open OneDrive. Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)
  5. Click on '+ Add new' and select 'Files upload.'Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)
  6. Locate and select the files you downloaded from WebFS and upload them.
