Introduction
St. Cloud State is transitioning to a new print solution, Pharos Cloud, in Fall 2025. Although faculty and staff may setup direct print to continue sending print jobs that are immediately released at a printer, they are encouraged to use Pharos Cloud's Secure Release feature for improved security and flexibility. Secure Release allows an employee to print a document to a secure queue and release it using a mobile device at their convenience (no need to immediately rush to the printer to collect the print job.) This Knowledge Base article covers how to setup your mobile device to enable secure printing.
