Introduction

Employees using a physical desk phone with Zoom Phone can set or update their voicemail PIN to access voicemail messages. This guide walks you through viewing, setting, or resetting your voicemail PIN using the Minnesota State Zoom web portal.

Instructions

  1. Sign in to the Minnesota State Zoom web portal:

    • https://minnstate.zoom.us/
    • Use your employee StarID credentials to log in.
  2. In the left-hand navigation menu, select Phone.

  3. At the top of the page, select the Settings tab.

  4. Scroll down to the Desk Phone section and locate PIN Code.

  5. Select View or Edit next to the PIN Code.

  6. Choose one of the following actions:

    • View your PIN:
      • Select Cancel if no changes are needed.
    • Change your PIN:
      • Enter a new PIN (must be 6–20 characters).
      • Select Save.
  7. After updating your PIN, you will receive a confirmation email from Zoom at your SCSU Outlook account verifying the change.


Tips & Notes

  • Your voicemail PIN is required when accessing voicemail from a physical desk phone (e.g., dialing *86).
  • Choose a secure PIN that is easy for you to remember but difficult for others to guess.
  • If you do not receive a confirmation email, verify the change by reviewing the PIN settings again in the portal.
  • Contact your ITS support team if you experience issues accessing or updating your PIN.
