Do students need to bring their own printers to campus?

Question

Do students need to bring their own printers to campus?

Answer

No, although students can bring a personal printer if they prefer, we encourage students to use the Tech Fee-funded printers around campus that all students can access. Due to the limitations of the campus network, wireless personal printers cannot be used on campus. You can still use a personal printer using a USB cord or with Bluetooth connections, if available.

For those who do wish to bring their own printer, please:

  • Ensure the Wi-Fi ability is turned off so others do not see the printer in range.
  • Connect your printer to your device using a USB cable.
