Card Swipe Issues

 

Introduction

I can't swipe into a building or room that I am supposed to have access to.

Question

I am supposed to have swipe access to certain buildings, rooms, or a ResHall. My swipe is not working, who can I contact?

Answer

ResHalls- Contact Residential Life for all buildings except Stearns Hall or Lawrence Hall.  For these buildings, contact the Access Control office at Public Safety at access@stcloudstate.edu.

Lindgren Child Care/Early Learning Center- contact the Access Control office at Public Safety at access@stcloudstate.edu.

All other buildings- Contact the Building Manager listed under Building Coordinators.  If the building you are trying to access does not have a building manager listed, contact the Access Control office at Public Safety at access@stcloudstate.edu

If you are advised by a building manager or Residential Life that you have the proper access permissions, but your card is still not working, contact the Access Control office at Public Safety at access@stcloudstate.edu.  The Access Control Manager can test your card to ensure that it is working properly, and if not, can assist you in obtaining a replacement card.
