Alumni Access

Introduction

Definition:
An Alumni/Alumnus refers to individuals who have graduated and received degrees from either undergraduate or graduate programs.

Instructions

 

Office 365

  • Alumni lose access to installed Microsoft 365 (Office) applications one year after graduation, as these apps stop working once the StarID is disabled.
  • Access to OneDrive data is also lost when the StarID is disabled.
  • SCSU-related email remains available only if the individual has a current admitted or enrolled status.

MyHuskyNet

  • Alumni retain access to MyHuskyNet for one year after the end of enrollment, provided they have a current alumni status.
  • Services available during this period include:
    • AppsAnywhere
    • File Webspace
    • E-services
  • Alumni passwords still expire every 180 days and must be updated to maintain access.

Wi-Fi

  • Alumni do not have access to HuskyNet Secure.
  • They can use the SCSU_Public Wi-Fi network.

Adobe

  • Access to Adobe services ends the day after the last enrollment date.
  • Enrollment date is the end date of the most recent class you registered for in Eservices.

Important Notes

  • After the one-year alumni status period ends, all access to technology services is revoked.
  • Alumni should back up any important files from OneDrive and other platforms before their access expires.
