Bit Locker Recovery

Introduction

Is your machine asking you for a  "Bit Locker Recovery Key?" 

Instructions

• Why?
  •  a USB device that has been plugged in and when the machine restarted it said that it was a threat and went into locked mode.
    • example: you put a flash drive in and then restarted the machine

• How can I fix it?
  •  Remove all new devices and restart the machine.
    • This should clear the bit locker issue, but if not then a technician will have to get the recovery code, login with admin credentials, suspend Bit Locker, and then restart the machine. 
      • Contact your primary technician if a restart does not fix the issue.
