Brightspace by D2L, Zoom, and Mediaspace are three tools that are often used to engage students in online, flexible, or flipped learning.

Zoom  
Zoom is Minnesota State’s online web conferencing system and collaboration tool open to students, faculty, and staff. It provides multimedia capabilities for activities like interactive classes, group work, online office hours, and meetings. Log on to Zoom for video conferences.   

You can find self-service guides at the Zoom Help Center or watch some of the Zoom Video Tutorials. Additional training opportunities are listed on SCSU’s knowledgebase article on Zoom.

MediaSpace
Kaltura MediaSpace is a service that converts and distributes video, audio, and other media formats. It is integrated into D2L for easy upload, creation, or use in courses. MediaSpace includes Kaltura Personal Capture, a desktop recording and capture tool. Contact anyone in the SCSU Online team for assistance with Kaltura MediaSpace.
