Is there a way to organize Workday email notifications?

Question

Is there a way to organize Workday email notifications?

Answer

Minnesota State has suggested that to more easily keep track of emails sent from Workday (e.g. task notifications), you can create a rule in Outlook to send these emails to a folder instead of your Outlook inbox. To do this, they suggest the following steps:

  1. Create a folder for Task Notifications from Workday (or your preferred title)
  2. Right-click the message you want to create the rule for and select "Create rule"
  3. Choose the folder where you want all messages from that sender or set of senders to be moved, then select "OK".

Employees may also want to consider using conditional formatting in Outlook to customize the appearance of emails coming from Workday.
